Sharing a touch of old world class from the masters, our afternoon Opera Soiree offers highlights from a few of the most famous operas ever written. By it’s very definition, an opera "A drama, either tragic or comic, sung throughout, with appropriate scenery and acting, to the accompaniment of an orchestra", our sampling will attempt to offer a range of moods and styles pleasing to your ear.  This bizarre affair of poetry and music, each dependent and equally obstructed by the other, will make it’s debut appearance in our lovely Cumming Playhouse, where history and culture come to play.
